Cody Jacob Uhls was born in Mooresville, IN - a small suburb of Indianapolis. Now residing in Nashville, TN, he is attending Middle Tennessee State University seeking a degree in Photography with a concentration in Journalism. When he isn't in school, he is traveling around with a camera trying to capture moments not noticed by the everyday bystander.
He previously attended the University of South Carolina - Beaufort where he studied Communications. He spent much time shooting photography in Beaufort and the surrounding areas. As a freshman, two pieces of his work was shown at the University in the "Student Exhibition" art show: Light of the Dark and Life Beyond, both works found in the "Abandoned Documentary."
Though he now resides in Nashville, he does spend time traveling back home to Indianapolis and to where his parents currently reside in Bluffton, SC. He shoots with Canon and gains inspiration from photographers like Platon, Matt Black, Skyler Wagoner and Louis Stettner.
